Originally from Edinburgh, Laurie graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2009. After working in a mixed practice in Newcastle, she joined Donview Veterinary Centre in 2011. She has been a clinical director since 2022, and heads up the day-to-day running of the practice alongside Katie James. She enjoys all aspects of life as a vet and her interests include running, photography, hill walking and several outdoor pursuits.

Jennifer graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2005 and joined our nursing team shortly after. She gained her A1 certificate in 2008, allowing her to become actively involved in veterinary nursing training. She is passionate about encouraging and supporting continued learning, and became a student clinical coach in 2012. Her clinical interests include quality improvement and feline care, having achieved her ISFM Certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing in 2015. In 2022, she also carried out an RCVS Quality Improvement Award winning quality improvement study.

After obtaining a degree in zoology in 2005, Lindsey joined Donview a few years later as a student veterinary nurse, before qualifying at The North Highland College in 2009. She gained her clinical coach certificate in 2014 and now enjoys training our student nurses. She also has a particular interest in pet bereavement support, having obtained a certificate in the area in 2022.

Stacey joined us as a student veterinary nurse in 2010, and later graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2012 with a degree in veterinary nursing. In 2018, she spent a year at a nearby referral practice as a night nurse, before returning to our team and completing her post-graduate certificate in advanced veterinary nursing with Harper Adams University. She has a particular interest in pain management and ensuring all our patients are as comfortable as possible.

Josie trained at our practice while studying veterinary nursing at Edinburgh Napier University. After graduating in 2016, she volunteered at an animal sanctuary in South Africa, before returning to the practice. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, especially assisting with surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Scotland with her family in their touring caravan, going for long country walks and teaching her dogs, Penny and Pipper, canine agility.

Jayne studied animal care and management at Clinterty College in Aberdeen and gained her higher national diploma in 2005. After working at a practice in Oldmeldrum and at a pet shop, she joined our practice in 2007, qualifying as an animal nursing assistant before completing her veterinary nurse training in 2013. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, as well as riding her horse. She is also a world-ranked PARA carriage driver, having competed in the World PARA Championships in 2023.
