About us

Trusted pet, farm and equine veterinary care in Aberdeenshire
Based in Inverurie and Kintore, our experienced team offers 24-hour care for pets, farm animals and horses across the region.
Our multi-disciplinary practice was founded in the early 1900s, meaning we’ve had over a century to learn about our community and what they want from their local vets.
Our continued hard work has not gone unnoticed! We were named the Best Mixed Practice in Scotland in 2016, won GHP News’ Best Practice in North East Scotland award in 2018, were National Vet Award finalists 2018 and achieved the RCVS Knowledge Award and ICC gold-standard Cat Friendly Clinic status in 2022.
Our values
We pride ourselves on delivering personal veterinary care, and promise to treat your pets, farm animals and horses like one of our own, and our clients as individuals, creating treatment plans tailored to you and your pet.
We never cut corners and will always prioritise the needs of our patients.
To ensure that we’re offering the best service we can, we continually review client feedback and our clinical cases. This allows us to adapt our ways of working as we aim to continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of you and your pets in the most successful way possible.

Here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week
In an emergency, your pet deserves to be seen by a friendly, familiar face that knows them and their history.
Our dedicated, 24-hour emergency care team is based at our purpose-built, modern facility in Inverurie, and we have team members on hand at all times to monitor inpatients.
Our farm and equine teams also offer 24/7 mobile emergency support, with two veterinary surgeons on hand at all times to offer advice and emergency appointments.
Our team
We continually invest in our facilities and team members, many of whom are qualified across all disciplines.
This vast experience, coupled with their wide range of clinical interests and additional qualifications, means that we can treat most cases in-house.

Giving back to our community
Our commitment to our community extends beyond our practice walls, and we get involved with local charities and events as often as we can.
Whether we’re visiting local schools or fundraising for charity as a team, it’s our pleasure to give back to the local people who have helped make our practice what it is today.
We hope that you choose to become a part of the next 100 years of our history! Contact our team to learn more about how we can help.
